We are a small local tour business offering trips to local sites with the history explained and a local story or yarn relevant to the venue. We specialise in visits to historical sites and go to places off the beaten track. All tours are tailored to your individual requirements.
We can take in several venues (time permitting) such as Bushmills Distillery along with the Giants Causeway. Tours can also be tailored to something of specific interest, such as Slemish Mountain (where St Patrick spent time as a slave), a visit to the Hole Stone or any other visitor attraction or place of interest.
Our vehicle is a luxury 8-seat MPV, fully licensed, insured and equipped with wheelchair friendly seatbelts.

Hi I am Jim, your tour guide.
I regard it as a privilege to present Ireland in all its splendour to his visitors. I have extensive knowledge of its history, its myths and legends and I’m sure I will be able to surprise and delight you my visitors during any of my tours – I am told I have an infectious enthusiasm. But don’t just take my word on this, please look at my feedback!
I have an active interest in folk tales and stories of the shee and have many story poems and of course, I try to have a story relevant to each venue.
I have a vast range of experience and knowledge of my country with an active interest in Ireland’s ancient history, castles and standing stones, archaelogy, local wild life and fauna; including fairies and leprechauns.
I try where possible to travel by the back roads and byways, giving you a look and a unique glimpse at the real Ireland! My tours are a great insight to the history and people of Northern Ireland and something different.
The profile picture – is the My new tour guiding, leprechaun whispering backroads visiting, lesser spotted Ulstering, storytelling Ratty Tat Hat! Designed for me by local artist Karen Christie. I will not be hard to spot in this!
Jim showed us his Ireland….he was on time, pleasant and willing to share what he knew of the area. His knowledge was extensive and he was always professional. He knew how to tailor the trip to what we wanted to see and even with winter hours we were able to see so much!
Wee Jim aimed to please and succeeded. In addition to guiding us to Northern Ireland’s greatest sites, he also assisted me with my genealogy search for my Scotch-Irish ancestors. Before the trip he contacted local genealogists for information, gave me a number of Irish web links to check, and took us to the old home areas to see where they lived. History came alive. Along the way he gave us many Irish stories, poems, and songs – all in his delightful brogue. Our best trip yet!!
Jim made the experience unforgettable because of his knowledge, energy, and pride in Northern Ireland. His entertainment via music and poetry was entrapping. Jimmy is one of the very best guides we have ever had!
What a wonderful day!! Jim was a joy. The trip was great and very informative. Jim is very knowledgeable on the area with its geography and folklore as well as where scenes are filmed for G.O.T. Even the restaurants and pubs we visited were great. This is such a beautiful day trip everyone should do it and be so lucky to him Jim show you the way.
